Our client wishes to extend and alter her bungalow, located in the village of Sturry, north east of Canterbury. The extension will be made at the rear of the property and internal alterations will create a bigger bathroom and a large, bright open plan kitchen-diner overlooking the garden. Planning permission was not required for this work as it is permitted development but it did require Building Regulations approval which we gained working with a structural engineer.
This is a relatively small and simple scheme but will give our client a spacious new living area and a vaulted ceiling and roof lights will bring light deep into the house. Bi-fold doors at the rear open onto, and connect the space with the garden.
The build is currently in construction, look out for finished photos to follow!
