Spacemaker Architects was set up in November 2012 by Adam Roake, Louisa Clifford and Catriona Campbell (who provides the marketing expertise). Ben Roake joined in November 2020, became a partner in September 2021 and now manages the Practice.
With our combined skills and experience, Spacemaker Architects is now one of the leading architectural practices in East Kent with many happy clients. We have also raised over £14,000 through our innovative charity consultation scheme. You can read about some of our projects here.
Adam graduated from Cambridge University and has been working as an architect and property developer since 1982. He also runs Urbanise which has recently partnered with Steenvlinder, the leading social and community driven developer for self-build in the Netherlands, to form OFKL to develop Orchard Farm in Kennington in Ashford (www.orchardfarmkent.co.uk).
Louisa, graduated from the University of Kent in 2012 with a first class Masters degree and successfully completed her final part 3 qualification at the University of Greenwich in April 2016.
Ben graduated from Manchester School of Architecture in 2015 and gained his Masters at the University of Westminster in 2017. Ben joined Spacemaker in November 2020 as an Associate Architect and became a Partner in September 2021 and now manages the Practice.
