This project involved designing a first floor extension above an attached garage to contain a new master bedroom with en-suite, as well as creating an open office space on the landing.
In order the maximize the width of the extension we designed a lightweight timber frame, clad in vertical tiles to match the front elevation. We also reduced the thickness of the side wall of the house which provided an additional slither of space in the bedroom. Built-in furniture was carefully designed and executed by expert cabinet makers to make the most of the available space.
